Blue Lace Agate is a type of chalcedony, a mineral of the quartz crystal family and has a stunning appearance of bands of light blue, lilac and whites. Believed to originally be used in amulets by ancient Egypt and Greece, it is said to be a soothing stone. It is associated with stress relief as well as growth and stability.

Originally mined by the Vikings in Norway and Greenland it is most commonly found today in Sri Lanka, Myanmar and India. One of the most beautiful gemstones with colour tones ranging from indogo to piercing blue. Known as the Viking Compass Stone as they used it as a tool to navigate it has been loved through the centuries. It is thought to be the Stone of Illumination, linked with spiritual journeys and associated with dreams, exploration and growth.

These earrings come beautifully packaged in one of our luxury designer boxes making it perfect for gifting. This includes a protective pouch to keep this jewellery item looking its best.
