Made for you in our studio in the West of Scotland this little framed moth artwork is drawn by hand, tinted in warm grey and/or sepia and layered with vintage book pages under the wings of the moths to make them seem to flutter. Each moth is stitched through the body and antennae with delicate black thread, giving depth and texture to their forms.
At the heart of this piece is personalisation: a single line of your chosen words, typed on a vintage typewriter and placed below the moon. The moth artwork arrives to you framed in an acrylic glazed frame which measures 12.5 cm square and 3.5 cm deep. You can choose the frame to be black, white or dark wood effect.
