Nature always inspires us. One day we picked up a delicate leaf skeleton that had dropped from a tree and knew we had to create something from it. We took a photograph and this is the piece of art that materialised.

Working from the original photograph we produced an outline of the leafs skeleton. This outline was then used to create the papercut picture, which is mounted in a deep box frame. Because of the intricacy of the papercut piece, when it is placed in a well lit area it produces an incredible shadow effect in the frame, bringing a whole new layer of detail to life.
