Industrial Style TV unit with steel frame and reclaimed wood shelves; a touch of natural distressed look will fit perfectly in your loft
This industrial TV unit was supposed to recreate the authentic distressed & industrial look, as if it were just taken from a factory of the 60's.
We worked really hard on the "brushing" of its metallic parts, trying to make them look distressed and naturally worn out, as well as creating additional support for the shelves with the help of authentically looking wires. The steel frame surrounding the shelves gives the unit industrial finishing note, and the whole look has the touch of nonchalant atmosphere of the 60's. This TV unit will look perfectly in your loft, living room or dining room.
The height of the unit is 211 cm; the distance from floor to bottom shelf is 27 cm, the distance between shelves 30 cm.
Solid wood is a natural living, breathing material that ages over time.
It has characteristics that include cracks in the wood, knots, mineral deposits, inclusions, as well as grain and pigment variations (sometimes filler or a wood patch is required). However, they do not interfere with the structural integrity of the piece, but instead give each piece its unique character.
Seasoning and drying the wood reduces splitting and warping, but some natural movement is to be expected. Variations in height, width or depth for all pieces may vary by as much as one inch.
Use coasters or placemats to help prevent marks or stains. Wipe the item clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
Each item is hadcrafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood or metal work are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
