Each Murano glass heart is carefully and lovingly handmade on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Stunning coloured glass canes are heated to a molten state on a copper rod. Then 24 ct gold or white gold is applied. The glass is shaped and cooled. It is then individually hand set in the silver. Therefore, please be aware that there may be inclusions in both the glass and the silver and slight variations in size and shape. There may also be little bubbles or flecks in the glass - this is not a fault and is the nature of the piece.

The earring wires are a hook style and are sterling silver 925.

This sterling silver Murano glass heart necklace and earring set is a precious metal and therefore may require cleaning. Please use a soft, dry silver cloth to gently buff your jewellery set. It is always best to store your silver jewellery set in a dry, dark place, preferably in a jewellery box to prevent it from tarnishing. We strongly recommend that all jewellery is removed before showering or swimming and that you take care when using perfume and cosmetics and please, never use silver dip.

We also offer an anti-tarnish silver polishing cloth, which is ideal for anyone who wants to keep their jewellery clean and sparkling wherever they are. A gentle rub from time to time will keep your silver jewellery looking clean and bright. Please select this from the drop down option box.
