This Graduation Print on Wood is a perfect gift for any new graduate or post-graduate. The design of this print features a close-up (Ordnance Survey) map centred on a university campus or college buildings. It is personalised with a graduation message, or name and course details in the corner. You can choose to have the personalisation added in a book motif or a star shape. It is a perfect present to remember an important time and place. A very thoughtful and truly unique gift.
Variations
The wood I use for my products is birch plywood from a sustainable source. The natural variations of colour and grain add to the character of the handmade nature of the item, making each map a truly unique ‘one off’. You can choose to have the wood colour left natural as it is, or to be given a light whitewash of paint before printing. The whitewash gives the finished article a brighter appearance as there is more contrast between the background and the map print.
This item is small enough to stand on a shelf or mantelpiece but can also be hung on the wall. It is supplied with a concealed hanger for easy hanging from a picture pin or nail. I also offer this item framed in a simple white or black wood profile. You may prefer this as it gives the artwork a more contemporary style. Simply select Framing via the options menu when placing your order.

The wood used for the unframed print is 17.5cm x 17.5cm x 1cm.
The wood used for the framed print is also 17.5cm x 17.5cm but it is 2cm thick.
The frame adds 4.5cm x 4.5cm x 1cm onto the original wood size therefore the overall size of the framed artwork is 22cm x 22cm x 3cm.
Packaging: All of the protective packaging used by Northern Logic to ship orders is made from recycled paper based materials, and can be recycled in your household paper & card recycling bin.

The jpg will appear at the top of the discussion page as a link which will open when you click on it.
