Never has a tree in our garden brought me so much happiness before. I dotted little vases of lilac all around the house, they smelled wonderful and just looked so stunning, a beacon of light during this dark time.
Lilac will aways remind me of this period of isolation forever more, so I had to paint it and capture that memory through my art. I hope this painting in turn can bring the same light and happiness in to your homes as it did for me.
