A beautiful handmade globe, using fascimile map artwork originally published by Parisian globemaker Dien in 1858. Devoid of colour for a strikingly spare, elegant presentation.
An unusual gift for yourself or someone else, and a stunning addition to living room, study, hallway or bedroom. All our globes are made by hand, in the traditional way they have been made for centuries, starting with a plaster ball, printed paper map artwork is then applied by hand, sealed then varnished.
The globe is presented on a turned wooden stand painted in Farrow & Ball's 'White Tie'. The bespoke metalwork is British stainless steel. We only use British parts for all our globes.
