A gorgeous Windswept tree silhouette, cut into black card and mounted in a deep box frame to create a magical shadow when lit.
Battered by the elements, this stunning and majestic tree stands firm. We wanted to capture the vulnerability and strength of this glorious tree. Created from an original photograph taken near Fowey in Cornwall, we developed the silhouette papercut picture, and it's become one of our favourite pieces.
The picture captures the nature of the elements perfectly. Everyone who see's this artwork comments how it looks just like a tree they remember seeing on holiday. Anyone who has been to the coast of Britain will immediately recognise this image.
The picture will make an ideal gift for anyone who loves windswept walks by the sea, looking out to the ocean and having their troubles blown away.

Made from
The scene is lasercut in to a single piece of 300 gsm paper. This piece is then mounted into a box frame ensuring the scene stays flat and true. The piece is mounted onto the front of the frame levatating the piece away from the back of the frame enabeling the shadow to be cast.
All scenes come fully framed in a Black box frame which can be wall hung or freestanding.
The black box frame is as eco-friendly as we could find, being made from recycled polystyrene. It also benefits from a glass front.
