Layers of papercut leaves create this stunning framed Canopy Artwork. Three papercut layers, framed in a deep box frame creates a magical shadow effect.
Remember those times when you lie back and watch the sun playing through the leaves of the trees above you. It's a magical view, isn't it? This was the inspiration for our layered Canopy picture. We wanted to recreate that feeling of being at one with nature.
This stunning recreation of trees, branches and leaves has been produced from three original photographs. We used these silhouette photo's to create the three layers. Each layer is cut into a different coloured card and mounted together in a deep box frame. The finished peice is stunning to look at, but really comes to life when placed in a well lit space. This is when the shadows come into effect and create a wonderful extra layer, really making the piece feel real.
This picture will sit perfectly in any contemporary home, and be loved by anyone who longs to spend their time exploring nature and the world around us.

The scene is lasercut in to three layers of recycled card. These pieces are then mounted into a box frame ensuring the scene stays flat and true. The piece is mounted onto the front of the frame elevating the piece away from the back of the frame, enabling the shadow to be cast.
All scenes come fully framed in a black box frame which can be wall hung or left freestanding.
The black box frame is as eco-friendly as we could find, being made from recycled polystyrene. It also benefits from a glass front.
