This beautiful tree of love gift also symbolises joy and harmony. It is a wonderful gift for someone special and guaranteed to bring delight!
Let the love flourish and grow with this stunning Myrtle tree (Myrtus communis). It has dainty aromatic leaves all year and white flowers which blossom with a wonderful, sweet fragrance. In autumn its spicy-sweet, edible berries ripen and they can be steeped in alcohol to make the traditional (and delicious!) liqueur called Mirto.
A card with your personal message also includes the story of the Myrtle tree's ancient symbolism and a full care guide. You can also personalise your tree gift with a brass plaque inscribed with your message (see images).
All our trees are organically nurtured in The Present Tree's gardens. We never, ever use harmful chemicals, just an organic blend that's wonderful for you, your tree, our wildlife and the planet.
You can add a 100% certified Organic Plant Care (see images) which contains everything required to ensure your tree flourishes. The Organic Tree Tonic (200ml) and Organic Leaf Spray (200ml) are health-boosting treatments packed with the perfect goodness for your tree.
When you place your order a gorgeous Myrtle tree will be carefully selected by our devoted gardeners before being beautifully wrapped in organza and freshly delivered in its luxury parcel.
Tree Care:
Your Myrtle tree is growing in an organic pot filled with top-notch compost, so no green fingers are required, just add natural daylight and water. We have added special nutrients to your tree’s compost to create the perfect balance of nourishment. This organic goodness will slowly release into the soil to ensure your tree continues to flourish.
Plant your Myrtle tree, still in its organic pot, in a flower pot (one with holes so excess water can drain away) or plant in a sunny spot in the garden. It will happily thrive in any garden and also looks fabulous on a balcony or in a cool greenhouse. Your Myrtle can tolerate temperatures as low as -1C, so may need to be placed somewhere sheltered in chilly weather. Please note the Myrtle tree is not an indoor plant so a room with central heating is not suitable.
