Pomegranate ‘The Tree Of Love’ Gift

It was a pomegranate tree beside which Juliet and Romeo spent their first wedded night together, and Greek legend states that the first pomegranate tree was planted by Aphrodite, the goddess of love. The tree originated in the middle east, where the tradition of displaying and breaking pomegranates at wedding ceremonies continues to this day.

With its stunning crimson blossoms and coral-coloured autumn foliage the pomegranate tree will make a beautiful feature in any garden.

It will grow happily without much attention and will remain a manageable size for a small garden, or in a pot in a sunny spot. For the best chance of growing ripe pomegranates we recommend growing the tree under glass.
