For those who adore sentimental gifts, this silverware with a twist makes the perfect treasure for someone you love.
The perfect gift for any tea drinker, this personalised spoon is the easy way to inform people how you take your tea. We can fit up to 42 characters onto our teaspoons so get creative! You can add the person's tea preference or even just personalise the spoon with a romantic 'I love you' or a name.
All of my spoons are available with a choice of handle style, some simple in design and some more ornate. I find that simple handles are especially good for men or people with a more classic taste, while the ornate handles lend themselves well to ladies and people who like vintage styles.
All of my cutlery is designed in house, inspired by classic antique British silverware. It is all silver plated and handcrafted exclusively for The Cutlery Commission, then personalised by hand in my workshop based in the Cotswolds.
My hand stamped cutlery differs from engraved cutlery because I use traditional, industrial tools to indent every single letter into the silver plate itself. Therefore marks made during the personalisation process are expected and spacing and alignment of letters are not exact. It all adds to the whimsical and charming look that makes your commissioned piece of cutlery such a unique gift.
Each commission will arrive with a chiffon ribbon-tied branded tag, wrapped in my bespoke acid-free tissue paper and ready to be given as a gift...or kept for yourself!
If you want that little extra touch you can purchase a Cutlery Commission Keepsake Box. These rigid, luxury boxes come with an anti-tarnish polish cloth and are perfect for keeping your silverware safe and in tip-top condition.
The cutlery itself is hand crafted from brass and then silver-plated. None of the items are therefore dishwasher safe and we recommend hand washing in warm water. Although the cutlery is useable, being silver plated means that it is prone to tarnish over time and should be treated more as a keepsake rather than an every-day utensil. And remember – silver cutlery loves a good polish now and then!
