We recommend no more than 10 characters (including spaces, punctuation, letters, and numbers) on this piece. We are aware that some people would like a secret message style engraving only visible through a magnifying glass or jewellers loupe. Because of this, we are happy to engrave any number of characters on your piece at your request. However, we do strongly urge caution if considering going over our recommended limits.
Please be aware that the more characters that your message contains, the smaller the writing will become. Script fonts are harder to read than block fonts at the smaller sizes - so these are recommended to be used only on shorter messages of one or two words with block fonts recommended for three words or over.
To help prevent any confusion with how you envision your engraving, please use the example instructions in the personalisation box to format your request.
Finally, if you are not sure if it will fit (or are simply wanting to make sure you are happy with the layout) please pop us a message and we will send over a mock-up proof for you to confirm. If we do not hear from you, we will engrave your piece exactly with the message exactly as you have left it in the personalisation box.
