Send this loving hug sculpture to someone you haven't been able to hug for a while. Made in Stoke-on-Trent in the heart of the UK Potteries. Entirely made in England all materials sourced locally. Hand glazed and fired on the site of a Victorian Pottery.
In these difficult times when human contact is limited, there is still a need to express our feelings and preserve our human rights. This is just a token reminder of that togetherness we all long for.

Made from
Originally hand modelled and carved this hand cast sculpture is made from Ceramic Earthenware. Once cast the clay piece is hand finished and fired. Then several coats of glaze are applied to give a unique finish giving each piece its own individual burnished bronze effect.
The item is then fired again and then if necessary re-fired to give a depth and gradation to the surface. This gives it an alive quality. No two items will be exactly the same.
