Personalised Fine Silver And Enamel Monogram Necklace

Beautiful personalised fine silver oval pendant handmade in our studio, engraved with a two initial entwined monogram and hand enamelled using glass (vitreous) enamel.

Available in a choice of enamel colours (dark blue, dark green, grey/black, teal and emerald green), this necklace makes a perfect very special gift for a loved one to treasure forever; perhaps for an 18th birthday, 21st birthday, milestone birthday or a gift for yourself!.

The personalised initial necklace hangs on a sterling silver chain 50cm. We have longer or shorter chains available, please just get in touch to enquire about these.

The ancient technique of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is a slow process - many thin layers of finely ground glass coloured with pigment are hand applied to the etched silver. Each layer is kiln fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver. At least five layers of enamel are applied to each piece which is then hand polished to reveal the lustrous, glossy smooth surface of the glass with colour that will never fade.

The necklace is presented in a Sally Clay Jewellery box tied with a black velvet ribbon.
