Hand Crafted Mediterranean Village 'Monsanto'

Stunning handcrafted ceramic village handmade by collected UK Artist Penny Howarth.

The piece is hollow, allowing a light placed within to filter through to the windows (see photo). A battery powered tealight is provided with this item which provides a subtle glow.

The piece depicts a beautiful village. A long and winding stairway intersects the model, passing through a tiny archway. The walls are a roughly textured stoneware ceramic, the roofs glazed with a shimmering burnt yellow effect.
