Description

All of our whiskey barrels have been sourced from the Cooper at Bushmills Distillery. Each wooden barrel used in the production of each pen is a minimum of 30-40 years old and is full of history.

Our unique hand-crafted pens are the perfect gift for Father's Day, birthdays, graduation, retirement and Christmas or for that person that always leaves you scratching your head wondering what to buy them.

Peninsula Pens pride ourselves on only using high quality components in the production of each pen in our unique range. Our unique hand-crafted pens are the perfect gift.

Variations

For an extra special gift why not personalise your choice of pen with your own selection of message, initials, name or date. You can include up to 22 characters (which includes spaces). The text will be centrally positioned in either the centre of the pen top or pen body depending on type of pen selected.

Please note we will use exactly what appears on your order so please double check all spelling, dates, punctuation etc. All desk pens have caps that sit separate from the main pen when in use. It is important when ordering one of our desk pens to advise us if the person receiving the pen writes with their left or right hand if requesting the main body of the pen lasered, as this will ensure that the lasered message will be correctly displayed when the pen is in use.

Peninsula Pens have in the past been commissioned to make a unique pen from a special piece of wood that has special memories for its owner. By making a pen from this special piece of wood the owner not only celebrates the old but also enables the new to be written. Made from

All the pens have been made from redundant Bushmills whiskey barrels. The wood needs to be oiled every four weeks to ensure it does not dry out. Peninsula Pens have the ability to offer some different finishes to our pens eg gold, chrome and sterling silver, please check with us to see if the particular finish you wish is available in the pen you require via 'ask seller a question'.

Each Peninsula Pen has a story to tell, it is presented in a beautiful velvet box with silk lining. Once the box is opened the story begins.

Your chosen recipient is immediately presented with the aroma of the whiskey that has soaked into the wood over the many years of the distilling process. A small piece of the barrel used in the making of your pen is contained inside each box. This wood will be lasered with a message telling the story of who made the pen, the name of the pen and where the whiskey barrel came from.

This unique gift made from our past history will be used in writing their new history.

Dimensions

The majestic roller ball pen come presented in a velvet pen box and measures 15cm long and 1.77cm in diameter. Please note the colour of the wood used in manufacturing the pen may vary from the our shop picture. This is due to how the piece of wood used has reacted to the whisky stored within it.
