Our luxury, Fair Trade leather journals are covered in beautiful Indra leather and embossed with a Celtic Triskelion.
Our beautiful leather journals are perfect for use as a diary, travel journal, or scrapbook.
Handmade, eco-friendly and Fair Trade, this stunning journal also makes a difference to the communities who make them. The cotton paper is made by a charity that promotes women's development in rural areas of Rajasthan, India.
The Celtic spiral represents the sun, strength, and progress. As the spirals appear to move forward, they represent the will to overcome adversity.
Some of the connotations of the three spirals on a triskelion include spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child and past-present-future to name but a few making this a great journal to use as a diary to record all your special moments.
Each journal contains pages of unlined khadda paper; khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While it’s perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldn’t recommend it for use with fountain pens.
Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand and ready to withstand any knocks and bumps on their journeys with you.
Protected with natural oils, it will soften and age beautifully. The embossed detail is created using small handmade tools, making each journal unique.
Due to the handmade nature of these products, colour and designs may slightly vary, but loveliness comes as standard.
The stamps we use are only uppercase letters in one typeface, and we have these punctuation .,’!?/- and special characters @&#+=♥★ÆŒ to choose from. Unfortunately, we do not have accents, colon, or semicolon stamps.
