A Silver or Gold Heart Shaped Map Printed on Whitewashed Birch Ply Wood, personalised with your choice of any worldwide map location.
This map print art work is handmade from whitewashed birch plywood, personalised with a gold or silver painted heart overprinted with a digitally created map to remember a special time and place. You could choose the venue of a honeymoon or holiday as the map can feature any location in the world. Each map varies, but usually covers an area of 1km x 1km.
It is a perfect present for a 25th or 50th wedding anniversary which are traditionally celebrated by exchanging silver and gold themed gifts. It also makes a lovely gift for Valentines Day, a birthday or Christmas.
Variations
Ordering is simple - use the drop down menus to add the details of the location of the map that you require and choose whether you would prefer a gold or silver heart.
All of the wood I use is sourced from a sustainable supplier. The birch plywood is lightly whitewashed before the heart is hand painted and the map is printed. Whichever paint colour you choose - Gold or Silver - each map is unique and carefully hand finished and protected with a layer of matt varnish.
This item is small enough to stand on a shelf or mantlepiece but can also be hung on the wall. It is supplied with a brass hanger for easy hanging from a picture pin or nail. I also offer this item framed in a simple unglazed white or black wood profile. This gives the artwork a contemporary style and adds to the aesthetic of the finished print. Simply select Framing via the options menu when placing your order.

The wood used for the unframed print is 17.5cm x 17.5cm x 1cm.
The wood used for the framed print is also 17.5cm x 17.5cm but it is 2cm thick.
The frame adds 4.5cm x 4.5cm x 1cm onto the original wood size therefore the overall size of the framed artwork is 22cm x 22cm x 3cm.
Packaging: All of the protective packaging used by Northern Logic to ship orders is made from recycled paper based materials, and can be recycled in your household paper & card recycling bin.

The UK maps used to create this product are sourced with permission from Ordnance Survey OS 1:25,000 or OS 1:50,000 Mapping @ Crown copyright and database rights 2024. Ordnance Survey licence No: 100054681
For maps of locations outside the UK I use data licenced from Digital Wisdom Inc. or sourced from OpenStreetMap.org

The jpg will appear at the top of the discussion page as a link which will open when you click on it.
