Double Painted Heart Shaped Map Print On Wood

The map design is digitally created with the map centered on any location in the world. You could choose the location of a first date, wedding venue, honeymoon or holiday. Before the map is printed the birch plywood square is handpainted with a double heart design.

The birch ply wood is sourced from a sustainable supply, it has a pale blonde hue and a subtle grain that complements the muted chalk paint colours I have selected for this range. The paints used for the maps are Farrow and Ball paints in the following shades:

Green Map (Farrow and Ball colour French Grey No 18) with a small pink heart (painted with Farrow and Ball colour Sulking Room Pink No 295);

Blue map (Farrow and Ball colour Light Blue No.22) with a small mauve heart (painted with Farrow and Ball colour Brassica No 271).

Ordering your personalised map is simple: Using the drop down menu select the colour combination required. Then enter the location details, including place name and postcode, in the location box. Each map varies but as a rule the maps cover an area of 1kmx1km, so please bear this in mind when selecting a location. Next add the names and date that you'd like in the small heart to the personalisation box.

This item is small enough to stand on a shelf or mantlepiece but can also be hung on the wall. It is supplied with a brass hanger for easy hanging from a picture pin or nail. I also offer this item framed in a simple unglazed white or black wood profile. This gives the artwork a contemporary style and adds to the aesthetic of the finished print.
