When a loved one needs to wear a medic alert, why not make sure it’s one they would proudly wear?
Our bestselling medical alert bracelet is timeless in design and bang-on-trend too, perfect for those who insist on style as well as function.
The medical alert bracelet comes with two expertly crafted sterling silver beads - one for your medical information and another with either the caduceus symbol (the internationally recognised symbol for medicine) or "MEDIC ALERT" - the choice is yours! We present the silver beads on a red soft nappa leather bracelet and add 3 copper rings for styling.
In an emergency, paramedics are trained to look for important information and we make sure your medical alert bracelet can be read quickly by using a clear and modern font. All of our medical alert jewellery also comes with premium laser engraving that is deeper and clearer than standard engraving - giving your medical information extra visibility.
You can have 200 characters of medical information on your medical information bead - 4 lines each with up to 25 characters per line (including spaces). We recommend your name, primary medical conditions, treatment considerations, any known allergies and at least one emergency contact number (ICE).
The price includes the bracelet and all the bands shown.
The standard clasp is stainless steel with a magnetic closure that makes it easier to take the bracelet on and off with one hand. If you need a clasp without a magnet, for instance, if you have a heart pacemaker fitted, then you will want to order the twist clasp, however, without a magnet, it is more fiddly to put on single-handed.
You can add your name, medical conditions, food or drug allergies, and emergency contact details. We recommend that you consult your GP to establish what they feel is important to include on the Medic Alert Bracelet.
Can be made to fit any size, even children.
Original U.S. made nylon paracord consisting of a core of threads in a woven nylon jacket.
Sterling silver beads with a stainless steel clasp.
We also add copper rings to either side of the silver beads.
What is paracord?
The word 'Paracord' comes from its use by American paratroopers during the Second World War. After a parachute landing the cord would be cut from the parachute and used for all kinds of applications. We use the original highest quality American paracord for our bracelets.
The Paracord is approximately 5mm thick and the Bead with your information on is 10mm wide, the "Medic Alert" bead is 5mm wide
The bracelets are made to order, so please ensure you order the correct size. The bracelet is not adjustable. Please measure your wristbone and add a little for comfort (1.5-3cm is about right, depending on whether you like a snug or looser fit). You can use a piece of string or strip of paper to wrap around your wrist, and then measure that string with a ruler, or use a cloth tape measure.
