Emerald Green Ring, Adjustable Sterling Silver Band

All Mere Glass jewellery pieces are made from a base of coloured, dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is coated with an incredibly thin layer of metal which creates luminous and intense colours in the rings. These colours appear to as the wearer moves.The glass is has a wonderful clarity of colour in daylight then, as the light dims, it seems to glow.

Each ring starts life as large sheets of art glass which are cut to size by hand. The pieces of glass are layered together to create the glass 'jewel' for the ring and then fired in the kiln to fuse the layers together. Some jewels are fired more than once to ensure the ring is finished in its best possible colour.We pack each ring very carefully to ensure it arrives looking its best. The glass jewel measures around 5mm across.

The sterling silver ring is adjustable. It is sized to fit women's fingers.
