A beautiful hand drawn illustration of your home, drawn from your favourite photo. A perfect birthday or anniversary present for someone special.
We also offer complimentary boxed, illustrated, personalised gift cards to give as a gift, for illustrations to be drawn later. Choose from a card that tells your recipient its being drawn for them, or one that allows them to supply their own photo, in their own time. The last option on the menu allows you to choose.
We will draw your home by hand as a black and white line drawing in our Derbyshire dales studio. We then add the colour of your choice and your text digitally and can send you a proof to approve before sending the finished illustration to you.
Variations
Our architectural style illustrations have pale highlighted shadows and a bold graphic sky in a choice of shades.We show a range of subtle coloured backgrounds, but if you have another colour in mind, please let us know.
You can choose the wording to be added, for example starting with the name or address of your home, and including details of who calls it home, and from when. You can also included your family pets, or any other important information, such as 'our first home together'.
After you place your order, you will need to send us your photograph(s). Upload them via the notonthehighstreet.com website by going to My Orders and submitting an enquiry. If we don't receive them within 24 hours we'll send you an email to remind you. Please note that delays in sending the photograph(s) will lengthen the timescale in which we can produce your illustration. If you don't have a photo, we can also find your chosen house online if you give us the address, or you can send us a weblink of an online photo you's like us to use.
If you especially want any details or features including, such as people or pets, please let us know.
We'll draw an articstic interpretation of your chosen building, missing out things that take away from the aesthetics of the drawing such as drain pipes. If you especially want any details or features including, please let us know.

Frame/ mount size 21 x 30cm with an illustration in the aperture of 12 x 17cm
LARGE
Frame/ mount size 30 x 40cm with an illustration in the aperture of 20 x 28cm
Your image sits in a 28 x 20cm bevel cut aperture in a 30 x 40cm white mount. The overall frame size is 32 x 43cm approx.

If you would like to send an illustration as a gift, and let your recipient choose their own photo for us to use, we offer a gift voucher card for you to give/ send to them. They can then contact us to arrange the illustration. The card is a 15cm sqaure card with examples of our work on the front, and text telling them they have had an illustration comissioned inside, with details of how to get in touch with us. It can be personalised with their and your names.
Your illustration is printed on 250gsm matt white art card using chromalife ink so it doesnt fade.
We send them mounted in a white bevel cut mount, or if you choose, can frame them in a choice of white, black or oak frames. I hand-write/ type the wording of your choice under the image on the left, and sign it on the right if required.
