Our curious cat is made from those favourite clothes that your little one has outgrown, as a perfect baby keepsake.
Made from your child's most treasured old baby clothes, our curious cat is a purrfect reminder of your little one. Those clothes are full of memories, you've been keeping them for ages, now it's time to dig them out the attic and let us create something really special.
Please note that as all of our items are handmade from different fabrics there can be a real variation in the appearance of the final product and the end result may not look exactly like the product pictured.
Variations
How it works:
Once your order is placed we will dispatch a mail bag and order details to your shipping address. When you are ready to send the clothes in just pop them in the mailbag, along with the form and send them back to us. Postage to us is at your own expense we recommend a tracked service. We require the clothing within 12months of your order being placed. Once we receive the clothes it usually takes around 4-6 weeks to create an animal keepsake (or a little longer in the run up to Christmas). We take the utmost care with your irreplaceable items. The cost of return postage and personalisation is included in the cost.
Gifts:
Get one for yourself, or make it the perfect gift for new parents, christenings, birthdays or Christmas. If you select our gift option we will send out a gift voucher so that when parents are ready to part with those clothes they can send them straight in to us.
Personalisation:
All our keepsake animals can be personalised with up to 45 characters of embroidery, usually the child's name and date of birth. The embroidery is on the feet.

Our cat is quite tall, sitting at 30cm and standing at more like 40cm.

What we need from you:
You need to send about four items of baby clothing for each keepsake animal. Often this might be babygrows, but it doesn't have to be, they can be made from any clothes. They don't have to be children's clothes either, it could be a beloved grandparent's clothes, bridesmaid dresses etc. If they clothes are larger childrens' sizes or adults then you can send two items. You can send more if you wish, as many of them as possible will be used but if there are entire pieces of clothing that are unused they will be returned with the completed order.

Obviously the material composition of the cat varies depending on the items you send us. We use 100% polyester stuffing that is CE tested.
Our keepsake animals are collector items - something for the owner to cherish and remember their little one's early days by. They come packaged in cotton dust bags to keep them safe. They are often made from quite old, delicate clothing and are not therefore able to withstand the rough handling of children. These items cannot be CE tested and therefore come with the following:

We would prefer you spot clean or handwash them. Do not tumble dry.

Delivery is by tracked and signed for courier.
We do delivery to Europe and the USA. Our charges for one product are displayed as you checkout. However, if you are outside of the UK and wish to order more than one item please contact us via the 'ask the seller a question' button on the product page so that we can calculate postage for you.
IMPORTANT: this information overrides the information in the table below. Our standard service is to get your order to you four to six weeks after we receive the items of clothing. If you use our express service this can be reduced to two weeks. If you opt for the gift option the card will be dispatched within 2-5 working days.
Returns
You have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, perishable products and personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken are non-refundable, unless faulty.
