Our steel penny artwork makes this the perfect personalised gift for your 11th(steel) and 5th (wood) anniversary, actually for any special occasion with a special date to remember..
Each original five pence piece is cleaned and polished to give the best shine,The five pence coin was originally minted from cupronickel (75% Cu, 25% Ni), but since 2011 it has been minted in nickel-plated steel due to the increasing price of metal. As a result of their steel core, nickel-plated steel 5p coins are magnetic.
We do use a mixed age of pennies which means you also get a variety of engraved pieces, most of which will be dated 2011 and thereafter. We then engrave four oak hearts with your names,a special date and a short message to personalise your gift.
Variations
Our main picture also shows the quality woven duck egg stripe cotton, this is actually a very light turquoise which is also the colour for the 11th anniversary, working well with the metal pennies.
We fasten your hearts onto a choice of linen and cotton fabrics, this also means if you are looking at an unusual unique gift this would also work well for your 4th (linen) and 2nd (cotton) anniversaries.

Framing; All artwork is provided in a choice of white, black or oak effect wooden box frames which can be hung on the wall or easily sit on a shelf. Each frame has a mdf backing board, picture hanger and supplied with glass not perspex.
