Handmade Blue Chattered Lidded Pot 24 C Gold Banding

A beautiful bespoke handmade lidded jar with 24 carat gold bands

This item is hand made using porcelain on a pottery wheel. A technique called chattering has been done to form indentations whilst the pot is spinning, the end result makes an organised pattern in bands around the product. The glazing has been done by applying cobalt oxide. The inside is finished off with a rich red glaze to ensure that this lidded pot is food safe. Finally, bands of 24 carat yellow gold has been added.
