These coat racks are crafted to resemble the iconic country and coastal footpath signs that inspired Grain Designs from the start!

Variations

Choose the text and emplems you would like and the custom length.
The distance between locations easily using google maps, or we are very happy to help.
These racks look very traditional with the iconic acorn on the outer points found on National Trust Sign Posts.
Writing can be on one or two lines.
The oak is specifically selected to have knots and naturally vibrant grain which is then enhanced with a special UK protective oil.
The coat racks are completely customisable. Pick your family names, house name or favourite holiday locations.
The hooks are iron-forged and handmade with traditional rose head nails that have been bent into hooks and painted to prevent rust.
We'll communicate closely with you throughout the process and always show a proof design before carving.

Fitting

Each coat rack arrives with all the fittings required for installation. A packet of screws, wall plugs and strong oak dowels that hide the screws. There will be pre-drilled holes in both ends of the coat rack, and one in the post, making it very secure and stable once on the wall.
The rack will arrive in two pieces, the first is the post and one of the arms which you drill securely into the wall and then you insert and the second hanger into the slot, adjusting the angle to match the angle of your wall. Once secured, the hanger should fit strongly and securely to the wall.

Delivery

Once you're happy with the design, it takes 7-15 working days (depending on the option you choose) to create the product by hand, before being sent out with Parcelforce on a tracked UK shipping service.

Dimensions

The middle post measures around 7 cm x 20 cm in height.
The arrow ares are 12 cm wide, 2 cm thick and can vary in length depending on your requirements.
The length you choose is the total length of the arm.
50 cm long arms can hold 4 hooks whereas 5 hooks can be added on longer lengths.
