A solar system garland of lovingly hand sewn plush felt planet decorations, perfect for any space themed children's room, play space or nursery.
This garland is a striking feature in any room and makes a wonderful gift for all space lovers, both young and old.
Each decoration is completely hand sewn with beautifully appliqued felt details and a blanket stitched edging. The size of the planets on the garland range from 5cm to 9.5cm to loosely replicate the scale of the planets in our solar system, making this garland a fantastic educational resource as well as being a decorative item.
This garland features the sun along with the eight planets and a crescent moon, so 10 felt decorations in total.
This garland is intended for decorative use only and not as a toy, therefore please keep out of reach of children.
Variations
For the old school planet lovers amongst us, the dwarf planet Pluto can be added to your garland alongside the moon, the sun and planets as an optional extra.
You can also add two yellow stars to your garland like the boxed example, or have them as separate hanging decorations like in the main image.
If the felt rocket decals featured alongside the garland catch your eye, you can add one of these to your order using the drop down options menu. These come in metal grey, Scandi sands, pastel pinks and red with teal. These can be attached directly to the wall using BluTack or propped on shelves or a peg rail to complete your space decor.

The planets spaced as shown in the images spread over approx. 120cm with cord either side for hanging, making the garland approx. 200cm in length.
The planets are moveable along this cord so can be spaced closer together or further apart to meet your needs.
Made from
All of my decorations are made in my craft room at home using vegan friendly felt to make them inclusive and long lasting, using skills that I have developed over two decades working with textiles.
All of my products are for decorative use and are not intended as a toy. They should be kept out of reach of children.
