You like whales, but it's impractical to keep them in the home? This fella comes with his own tiny ocean!

Someone told me that water holds a memory of what was once in it. Imagine the things it will have touched in its endless travels around the world; every glass would contain traces of everything- a veritable elixir vitae.

The liquid from your tap may well be a tincture of whale.

These lino cuts explore the theme of memory. Give it to someone going away to remind them to have a whale of a time, or use it to contemplate the interconnectedness of life, to remember good friends; or just to make you happy if you like whales- which you should. Intelligent, social, kind, good at swimming and a great singing voice- I'm a bit like a whale myself.

    made from:

I use water based (eco friendly) acrylic inks in aqua and black create this artprint. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future.

The humpback whale is a lino cut. The splash is screen printed.

A4 acid free, smooth, heavy weight cartridge paper (that's 297 x 210 mm or 11.7 x 8.3 in). Fits standard sized frames (not supplied)
