Product description
A stunning steel bowl inspired by the 'Monk Bowl' with an exceptional finish created by our Blacksmith Adrian
These Monk Bowls have been produced by Blacksmith Chris and then Blacksmith Adrian has created the most beautiful finish to the outside of the bowl. This is what he has to say about it
"Whilst in Manchester art gallery they had an exhibition of Bronze and Sculptures, normally kept hidden in the basement, It was here I admired the lustrous patina and Verdigris on the artwork. I wondered how to replicate the finish on our products. So I experimented and with my personal experience working on period furniture I produced the distressed bronze lustre with artificial Verdigris sealed with a wax"
Variations
