Silver Stud Earrings With Oval Murano Glass

These silver earrings are each carefully and lovingly handmade. They are hand set in sterling silver and the ear posts and butterfly style earring backs are also sterling silver.

The glass ovals in these silver studs are genuine Murano glass. Each piece is handmade on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Vibrant coloured glass canes are heated to a molten state on a copper rod. Then 24 ct gold or white gold is applied. The glass is shaped and cooled. It is then individually hand set in the silver. The Murano glass ovals are then individually hand set in the silver. Therefore, please be aware that there may be inclusions in both the glass and the silver and slight variations in size and shape. There may also be little bubbles or flecks in the glass - this is the nature of the piece.

All jewellery is carefully wrapped in tissue placed in Claudette's distinctive white box and turquoise ribbon and comes complete with a little tag explaining the origin of the piece. This service is completely free of charge.
