'Magenta Meet Me At The Ginger Lilies' is inspired by the pink ginger lily native to the tropical humid climates of Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia

These beautiful flowers are also called Torch Ginger or Red Ginger and are part of the ginger family. The buds of these flowers are used in some South East Asian culinary dishes as well as used a medicinal remedy. Clare was inspired to draw these stunning flowers at The Botanic Gardens of Singapore, her former home visiting in the early morning to draw at the Ginger Garden by the waterfall whilst the gentle art of Tai Chi was being practised in the gardens.
