Heating Instructions: The lava stone must be superheated before being placed onto the steel underplate and bamboo board:

• Oven: Preheat to 280°C–350°C for 40–60 minutes.

• Hob / Stove: Heat directly on gas or electric rings on medium-high heat.

• Grill: Heat directly under a high grill setting.

• Barbecue: Place directly on the grill grates during your outdoor BBQ.

Care & Cleaning

• Lava Stone: Allow the stone to cool completely to room temperature before cleaning to prevent thermal shock. Hand wash using hot water and a stiff nylon brush or scouring pad. Never use soaps, or chemical detergents, as the porous rock will absorb them and taint future meal flavours. Do not soak the stone in water. Air dry thoroughly before storing.

• Bamboo Board: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth after use and dry immediately. Do not soak or immerse in water. To maintain the natural lustre of the wood, treat periodically with a food-safe mineral oil.

• Stainless Steel Underplate & Porcelain: The stainless steel tray and porcelain pots/plate can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher.
