Our Batik Craft Kit is crafted using authentic, high-quality materials rooted in tradition:
- Fabric: 100% premium cotton, chosen for its ability to absorb dyes vibrantly.
- Frame: A 20cm sustainable bamboo ring, which comes pre-mounted and acts as both your "canvas" holder and your final display frame.
- Design: Each kit is individually hand-drawn using authentic wax-resist techniques. - Dyes: The kit includes five primary fabric dyes (Yellow, Red, Violet, Cyan, and Navy Blue) designed for beautiful blending and gradients.
CARE & DISPLAY
Once you have finished your masterpiece, follow these tips to keep it looking stunning:
1. Drying: Allow your artwork to air-dry naturally for 1–2 hours.
2. Display: Your batik is pre-mounted, meaning it is "ready to hang" immediately after drying. It is designed to be kept within the bamboo ring as a decorative textile piece.
3. Longevity: To preserve the vibrant colors of the fabric dyes, it is best to display your artwork away from direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent fading. 3. Handling: Keep it in a dry environment and away from direct heat to protect both the batik and the bamboo frame.
Note: Each kit is individually hand-waxed, so slight variations may occur, making your finished piece truly one-of-a-kind!
