Description

Featuring beautiful, delicate tourmaline stones, which have been carefully selected and strung in a shaded design. The mouthwatering colours fade and merge from pinks to plum through to olive, teal, green, gold and amber.

This multi coloured necklace closes with a lobster clasp and is finished with a little pink tourmaline that dangles beautifully on the back of the neck. Length is adjustable length between 17 and 20 inches. Shown with gold fill metal, but is also available in rose gold or sterling silver.

Along with the opal, tourmaline is the birthstone for October. Renowned as the gem of poets and artists, it has become known as the 'Poet's Stone'. Tourmaline is believed to inspire creativity and Shakespeare had a small collection of tourmaline jewelry to help him overcome writer's block! Tourmaline is also said to increase happiness, hope, self confidence and creativity, whilst helping to dispel fear, anxiety and sorrow.

Designed and handmade in Devon, England, with finest quality tourmaline, strung on finest 49 strand beading wire, with 14k rose gold fill / 14k gold fill / 925 sterling silver.

Fine layers of pure gold sheets are 'rolled' between layers of other metals (such as silver) and these layers bond together to form gold fill, or rolled gold, which contains layers pure gold rolled thoughout, right to the core.
