One Day Introduction To Resin Art

by When I Was a Kid

  • exclusive

Let your creativity flow in this workshop we’ll teach you all the tips and techniques you need to create your one of a kind masterpiece.

Join Eunice for this interactive introduction to creating resin artwork. You will learn the basics of working with epoxy resin for art, as well as how to create your very own abstract, non-representational resin artwork.

Eunice has been creating one off pieces of Resin art for over 5 years and will be on hand to help you overcome all the pitfuls a new artist to this medium is likely to encounter. Her pieces adorn the walls across the UK including corporate Boardrooms, Hotels and Private collections.

During the workshop you will make resin paintings on both hanging hearts, coasters and board. Resin expert Eunice will show you how to do a 'dirty pour' and a 'swipe technique' with pigmented resin. You will use the full range of transparent and opaque pigments alongside the wonderful selection of colour powders and glitters.

Resin gives you wonderful creative freedom - colour it, make it sparkle and shimmer, embed things in it - the only limit is your imagination! Eunice will show you how to create your very own resin artwork without using expensive or sophisticated equipment, and in this workshop you will make at a set of coasters a small practise artwork and a stunning 60 x 40 cm statement artwork.

The 1 to 1 epoxy resin used is low odour, non-toxic and doesn't contain dangerous solvents. It's easy and fun to use when you know how. You will leave with the knowledge & confidence to create your own work at home.

All materials are provided so just come along and learn a new fun and exciting Art medium.

Eunice will also have products available for you to purchase on the day so you can get started

Your resin art will take 4 to 5 days to fully cure so you can come back to collect if you are local or I will post to you when its ready. Postage will be charged at £10.
