Because wood is a natural material, grain direction, knots and colour can vary from piece to piece, making every set unique. We create each order in our small UK workshop and pack your place names carefully so they arrive presentation‑ready for your wedding tables. We keep the finish natural and smooth, so the names look beautiful on the table and feel lovely as a keepsake.
Dimensions
Each place name is sized to suit the wording, so lengths vary from guest to guest. As a guide, names are approximately 3.5–5cm high and 9–15cm wide, depending on the number of letters. They’re designed to sit comfortably inside a standard dinner plate as a place setting, without covering cutlery or napkins. If you have very long surnames, double‑barrelled names, or you’d like titles such as “Bride” and “Groom”, pop them in and we’ll size them to look balanced. Please allow small natural variations due to the wood and made‑to‑order finish.
