A good quality tea towel featuring a 17th century depiction of bird songs.
This engraving shows the supposed musical basis of the songs of several birds, and is from Atanasius Kircher's exhaustive 1650 Musurgia Universalis, sive Ars Magna Consoni et Dissoni ("The Universal Musical Art, of the Great Art of Consonance and Dissonance"). Note that the parrot simply say says χαίρε - "hello" but in Greek, just to make it clear that we are still being scholarly.
Made from
100% cotton, with corner hanging tag. Machine washable.
