Discover why no other country in the world does a pub like we do in this brilliant walking tour.
Who doesn’t love a pie and a pint and as for peculiar pubs, London has them in spades. Quintessentially British. On this walk you will be discovering why no other country in the world does a pub like we do. Explore the history of the pub, and try out a few tasty treats along the way. The tour starts with a beer and ends with a pie and a pint.
The route weaves through the streets of Clerkenwell and Farringdon. Where could you find the last beer before a Newgate execution? Why are ghosts and spirits kept at bay in one particular (and very cosy) bar. Discover the reason why some pubs are hidden away in certain parts of London.
LOCATION: London; the tour begins in Farringdon
DURATION: 2.5 hours
