Craft your own chopsticks while learning basic woodworking skills. A perfect Father's Day gift.
You could whittle a spoon, but if you want a bit of one-upmanship (and really who doesn’t) the way forward is to carve your own chopsticks. This is an evening woodworking course, starting with tea and cake you will be introduced to basic woodworking skills, and the correct use and maintenance of hand tools. Then you will be selecting the wood before you start carving. At the end of the evening, you will take home your own unique chopsticks - with contrasting wood inlay, and stand.
Your master carpenter, Charl Heynike, studied at Central St Martins and focuses on creating luxury products with superb high-end craftmanship from Japanese Knives to beautiful humidors.
