I’ve always loved soap making. I think it's the alchemy of transforming natural oils into something entirely new and gifting a bar to family and friends is so immensely satisfying. When I saw that a local boutique was asking for soap makers I impulsively replied ‘Yes!’ and Soap Folk was born.

Sourcing the best quality natural and sustainable ingredients to create beautifully packaged but still affordable soaps, I wanted to create something better for the planet by inspiring people to swap a plastic bottle for a bar of handmade soap.

From the kitchen table to building a team - It’s been quite a journey! As our range increases, we stick to the same principles - to adopt a zero waste approach, be palm-oil free and use plastic free packaging to create the perfect eco friendly gifts to suit every budget.

Everything is handmade by us, Soap Folk, in our workshop in the picturesque Stroud Valleys of Gloucestershire. We love what we do and we think that shines through.
