Simon soldered three ornate Roses together and then added two Humming Birds to create a beautiful , artistic piece of jewellery.
It is cast in solid sterling silver and then a layer of 18 carat Gold is added . The final part of the process is removing the gold from the inside of the flowers. This draws out the detail creating a lovely contrast between the white of the silver and the lustre of 18 carat gold. Truly a pendant for all lovers of Art Nouveau and the more decorative and feminine style of jewellery.
An 18 " chain is included although different lengths are available. There are matching earrings , either the humming birds or a pair of the roses. All of this jewellery is available in solid 9 carat and 18 carat gold, fully hallmarked in Birmingham's World famous Jewellery Quarter.
Simon is a third generation English Jeweller. He has been making a wide range of jewellery since 1990 and counts amongst his many clients the National Trust of Scotland , the House of Bruar and the British Museum.
