These Cowrie Shell Hoop Earrings are a realistic, organic shaped pendant with an incredible history.
This shell has been used as a form on currency in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In Nepal and India, it represents wealth and womanhood and used in certain ceremonies to worship the Goddess Laxmi.
Our earrings are inspired from a Cowrie shell found on a sandy beach from Tulum, Mexico.This would make the perfect gift for family, friends or an ocean lover and can serve as a sentimental jewellery piece to remind someone of pleasant memories from a very special holiday or honeymoon.

Made from
925 sterling silver. The shell pendant can be 18ct yellow gold plated or 18ct rose gold plated.
Our gold plated items are compliant with the Assay nickel release test (BS EN 1811:1998 and BS EN 12472) therefore they are suitable for those with nickel allergies.
