My name is Oya, and after a long career as a designer in the fashion industry, I founded Oyzshop to bring bold, sustainable art into the home. My journey began with a deep appreciation for traditional textiles, but my passion has evolved into creating modernist and Bauhaus-inspired designs that reflect a cleaner, contemporary aesthetic.

Today, Oyzshop is dedicated to high-quality, printed soft-touch chenille cushions. I’ve moved away from traditional ikats to focus on vibrant, high-definition prints that allow for more intricate geometric patterns and botanical illustrations. This shift allows me to combine my love for mid-century modern art with the durability and luxury of premium fabrics.

Environmental impact remains at the heart of everything I do. I take great care to ensure that my designs come together with environmentally friendly and ecological materials. Every cushion is thoughtfully designed and crafted to be as kind to the world as possible, ensuring you don’t have to choose between style and sustainability.
