OlaOla is a Textile design studio, by Ola Olayinka, which creates unique patterns featured on hand-made or locally produced accessories, stationery & homeware.
OlaOla products are made so that everyone can easily liven up their everyday style through the use of bold colours and eclectic graphic print. The patterns are inspired by nature, the abstract and the use of colour and pattern in Ola’s Nigerian heritage.
Printed and hand-made in small batches in the UK. Products are made to order, allowing less fabric waste and all smaller off-cuts are up-cycled into products such as earrings or scrunchies. All patterns are originals created by OlaOla.
After working in the industry as a textile designer for many years Ola wanted to break away from commercial textile design and create prints and patterns inspired by her own personal interests and to make products that would allow customers to easily incorporate colours and patterns into their everyday. Homeware, accessories and bags allow a person to be playful with colour and pattern, without feeling like they are out of their depth.
OlaOla is a The Prince's Trust business, they guided Ola through the realisation of her business and still provide support 3 years after the launch, such as connecting OlaOla with corporate partner and long-term Prince’s Trust supporter, notonthehighstreet.
