Here’s what makes us different. We work directly with the best independent butchers across the country. We’ve found them so you don’t have to – and they’re great. With our help, they deliver direct to your door. Like them, we are fanatical about free-range, but it doesn’t stop there. Heartier meat is ethically-sourced, and always completely traceable. We’ll tell you where every steak has come from. Even better, our butchers cut to order. This means no waste, no nasty flash freezing and no warehousing.

Why do we do it?

Well, it means the meat tastes incredible. But it’s also the right thing to do. We quit our jobs and started Heartier because it was devastating to see so many brilliant butchers shutting down. People still wanted to eat great meat, but it was just easier to buy at the supermarket. We wanted to change that, and so had a simple mission: to make it easy to buy better meat. So here we are, hundreds of thousands of sausages later and more fired up than ever.
