Murrayfield Scottish Rugby Stadium Mug

Our rugby stadium mugs are all beautifully illustrated with a Lowry style image which shows many Scottish rugby fans, resplendent in their blue team colours flocking to the Murrayfield Stadium on match day.

Murrayfield Stadium is the rugby stadium located in the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh, Scotland. The stadium is the home of the Scottish Rugby Union and sees many international fixtures. With a seating capacity of 67,144, it is the largest stadium in Scotland and the fifth largest in the United Kingdom. It officially opened on 21 March 1925 with a game between Scotland and England. The game was won by Scotland who emerged victorious following a Grand Slam.

The mug is made from Bone China and decorated and fired at a small Stoke based pottery to create a robust design that will last for many seasons to come. Suitable for microwaves and dishwashers but for the longest life we recommend hand washing.

A lovely Scottish rugby gift for birthdays or Christmas for the true fan for their morning coffee or tea before the next fixture at their beloved stadium.
