Tawny Owl Bone China Mug

My watercolour paintings of a sleepy tawny owl amongst the flora and fauna inspired by woodland walks have been professionally printed onto ceramic transfers which are then cut and applied by hand to a delicate bone china mug to create the finished design.

Every mug is hand decorated by me in this way to allow for the intricate design and detail inside the mug. This is what makes littlebirdy designs products unique and means every item has been closely handled with diligent care and attention. I mostly replicate the design shown in the photographs but some elements of the design may vary, please send me a message if you have any specific requests. After decorating, tawny owl design mug is fired in my own small electric kiln to 800°C fusing the transfers into the glaze and making it dishwasher safe.

These barrel shaped mugs are a lovely shape to hold and make an excellent cup of tea!
