Designed to celebrate classic British telegrams using vintage, pre-decimal postage stamps - send a handwritten keepsake to be treasured forever.
The postage stamps selected for this particular telegram are over 70 years old. They date back to 1948 and were issued on April 26th to celebrate the silver wedding anniversary of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
For the first line of your order you'll be promplted to select between, 'WITH LOVE or CONGRATULATIONS' for 'OUR or YOUR' - '1ST, 10TH or SILVER' etc 'YEAR or WEDDING' anniversary.
for example your telegram could read -
WITH LOVE ON OUR 1ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - STOP
AS THE YEARS ROLL BY - STOP

or alternatively it could be -

Each telegram is custom made by hand to your specifications and created to the highest standard. Your 3 lined-message is carefully printed onto paper strips, then skilfully applied to the telegram. The original postage stamps used date back to the 1960's or earlier. These are thoughtfully selected for your order according to the celebrated occasion.
The telegram can be sent directly to you now or to the recipient for the date specified - within the UK only. Please select your preference from the 'shipping options' drop-down menu.

For an extra finishing touch you can add a gift card luggage label. This is decorated with a vintage stamp and on the reverse, your short message will be carefully handwritten. Your telegram will be placed in clear cellophane packet and the label attached to the outside with decorative tape.
PLEASE NOTE -
Just a little message about delivery. We use 1st class letter post and orders are sent by Royal Mail. Due to Covid19 there are some understandable delays with their service. Please bare this in mind when placing your order as your telegram may arrive after the expected date.
We also prefer not to send these to wedding venues, registry offices, hotels, places of work or restaurants; simply as the telegram may not be hand delivered to the addressee on the desired date and this can lead to disappointment.

Telegram is printed onto high quality, cream card and sent in a matching DL 120gsm envelope.
Telegram is finished with hand inked stamps and vintage postage stamps which are new, unused pre-decimal commemoratives and vary in design.
Telegram and envelope are posted out in a C5 rigid mailer.
